Terrific story in the Leavenworth paper about the journey of Fred Harvey’s grand-niece Jacque Grannum–who I helped connect with her roots after she read Appetite for America. She’s finishing up a whirlwind tour of Fred Harvey’s America, which we helped her arrange with the leading Fredheads in a number of Southwestern and Midwestern cities. I know the Harveys are happy to reconnect with the family of Fred’s sister Anne, and we hope their branch will help us understand the Harvey saga even better. She has already given us some new insights into the Fred Harvey letter collections in Santa Fe and Leavenworth. Welcome to Fredheadism (or is it Fredhedonia?), Jacque!
