Rush\, a 2018 American Library Association Notable Book of the Year\, was also a 2019 finalist for the George Washington Book Prize. \nIn a presentation entitled\, “Rediscovering Benjamin Rush\, Yellow Fever & the Revolutionary Early Days of Penn Medicine\,” Fried will discuss the monumental life of Benjamin Rush\, medical pioneer and one of our most provocative and unsung Founding Fathers. \nThe Penn Libraries’ Biomedical Library book talk series features Penn authors and beyond.
